AACCCHS
A house is a basic need for every human being and it keeps on increasing with the expansion of family. Presently, there are around 2000 crew members from Karachi who are mostly residing in scattered places. Laying emphasis on the housing need, ACCA’s progressive vision embarked upon a plan to meet this basic requirement . A housing society was created by the name of All Airline Cabin Crew Co-operative Housing Society (AACCCHS) and was registered with the District Officer Co-operative, Karachi on 11th March, 2005.
It was decided to create a housing scheme within a boundary wherein all aspects of safety, security, medical, schooling and other necessities are provided, so that crew members away from their home will have a sense of satisfaction about their families. In this regard experienced professionals were hired to design a model residential society. The main features of this housing scheme are a recreational area containing walkway, flower beds, water fountain, play facilities for children, sports grounds, skating rink, swimming pool etc. There is also a provision for a club house with a restaurant, indoor games, fitness club and rooms for overnight stay for non-resident cabin crew and their guests. A school for children, mini shopping mart and a medical centre is a vital feature of the design so as to ensure that all necessities are available at a walking distance. A maintenance shop will be equipped with technical staff to attend all complaints at any hour.
